New Toy

Today we bought Maddy her first Walker. She can't quite touch the floor with her feet but she fits in it perfectly. Maddy had a great time with the walker, she laughed and kicked her feet for an hour. The walker has features on it such as a steering wheel, horn and toy car for her to play with. Before long, she will be running all over the house in this!

Best Friends

Madeline and Maizey are becoming great friends. Maizey likes to follow Maddy wherever she goes and hangs out with us on the couch.

Baby Pooh

This stuffed Winnie the Pooh is the one we took a picture of with Maddy on the day she was born. At that time, Maddy was the same size as Pooh, now Maddy towers over it. She is getting so big!!

Madeline is learning to hold onto the bottle when we feed her. She usually puts her hands on the sides and helps tilt the bottle towards her mouth.

Madeline now sleeps 8 hours every night and takes one to two naps during the day. She has gone through a couple growth spurts and is now stronger then ever. Maddy likes when we hold her and let her feet touch the ground, then she uses her strength to bounce up and down.

Madeline has really started to enjoy hearing stories. Kevin and I read to her every night and she just lights up with excitement.

Our little Madeline is doing great. She is now almost 3 1/2 months old! Maddy is to the point where she enjoys sitting up all the time instead of lying down. She likes to be propped up on the couch where she can see what is going on around her. Maddy is strong enough that she can hold onto just my finger and hold herself up.

She is more curious evyerday and has started using her arms and legs more. She is able to hold onto her toys and play with rattles, and stuffed animals, etc.

Madeline has a favorite toy now which is a little giraffe that her Aunt Linda gave her last year for Chrismas. Maddy will sit and laugh at it and hold it for as long as we let her. She thinks it is so funny, She lights up whenever she sees it!

Silly Hair

This is what Maddy's hair looks like after bath time. I started sitting in the tub with her so I can hold her upright in the water. This way she can enjoy the warm water as I wash her. She is starting to enjoy bath time...finally!

Time with Daddy

Maddy is really becoming a daddy's girl. She loves sleeping on his tummy and cuddling up with him. Maddy looks more and more like Kevin everyday.

Swing Time

Madeline finally fits into the swing she received at the baby shower. The swing automatically rocks her with 6 speeds and it has a mobile attached for her to play with. Maddy is such a happy baby and is always smiling.

First Pair of Shoes

Maddy wore her first pair of shoes today. They are size 1 which is one size bigger then newborn.

At this point we think Maddy might have her daddy's height. She is wearing size 6 month outfits because the smaller sizes are not long enough for her torso. Size 6 month outfits are big around her shoulders and wide in the belly but fit perfect in length.

Maddy now weighs 13 pounds and is about 24 inches long.

Watching TV

Yesterday Maddy wanted to watch TV without me so she climbed up on the recliner and turned it on....Ha-ha. Actually, she does enjoy sitting in the chair by herself, she can hold her head up and move it in all directions

Another day with mom

Maddy is 3 months old now and doing great. She just started sleeping in her crib, she has been sleeping in a bassinett for the past 3 months. I have been reading to her everyday and her favorite books seem to be ones with lots of animal pictures. As you can see, Maddy definately likes attention and enjoys having her picture taken.

Game Day

It's an exciting day here at the house. Today Maddy and I are preparing to watch her first U of M football game! Kevin, Grandpa Doug, and JDay are at the Game in Ann Arbor so we are hoping for a big win for them.
