Victor wanted to go for a car ride today so he rode in the back seat with Madeline while we drove dad to work.

Birthday Fun

Madeline and I had a great time last night. We went to our next door neighbors house to help celebrate Natalie's 3rd birthday. We ate pizza, played games, and had a great time.

Madeline slept in until 11:30 this morning so we missed music class and lunch with daddy. Instead we caught up with our pals Allie and Lauren a the park. We played for a bit then headed to Kierland outdoor mall for lunch. We ate at a small bistro and the girls enjoyed an ice cream cone. We walked through Barnes and Noble and ended our day playing at Allie's house for a bit. 

Maddy skipped her nap today so hopefully she goes to bed early tonight!

New Park

Our neighbors introduced us to a new park yesterday and we love it! Madeline asked to go there again today so we did. This is a great park close to home and has plenty of slides, swings and fun things to do. We even made a few new friends today which we will see again tomorrow!

Week in Review

This week we played at the park, took lots of naps, got 3 vaccinations at the doctor's office, had lunch with daddy at his office, and signed up for preschool.

Friends

Madeline and I woke up early for church today. We walked to church with our next door neighbor, Brook and her 5 children. Her kids are ages 1, 3,4,5 and 8 and Madeline just loves playing with them. Today was the first time I have taken Maddy to church and she stayed in the nursery while we attended service. She had a great time and even asked to go back next week. After church we all walked back to Brook's house where the girls jumped in their bounce house, played outside and had a blast together.

Madeline and I toured the preschool at our Lutheran church today. She is signed up to begin school in August. She will go 2 days a week from 9 to 12 and eat lunch there. I was nervous to see how she would react in the class but when we visited the 3 year old's, Madeline ran right in and started playing blocks with the kids. She even helped pick up when they were done. She played on the playground and met the principal and her new teacher. Madeline seemed to fit right in and she told me she is very excited to go to school. Luckily the school is right around the corner from our house and we were able to walk there which we will do most school days.

Gymnastics

Madeline and I had been sick with the flu for about 2 weeks and are just now starting to feel better since Christmas. Today was our first big outing and we went to gymnastics to get some exercise. Madeline had a blast jumping on the trampolines and running around. She was so hungry afterwards that we drove straight to McDonald's for a happy meal.
