24 Weeks Old

Madeline is now 24 weeks old and still happy as can be. She tends to get fussy in the evenings as she is still teething and I think she just gets tired by the end of the day. Madeline weighs about 15 pounds and around 26 inches long. It is hard to get an accurate measurment since she likes to wiggle around. Her 6 month Pediatrician check up is on December 17th so we will have correct info then.

Madeline received a "Crawl Ball" from our Friend Pam in Indiana. The ball moves on its own, talks and sings. The ball is great and Madeline loves it. She rolls it, kicks it and laughs at it.

Madeline still eats about one bowl of rice cereal a day and 24 ounces of formula to keep her growing. Right now she loves anything that makes noise and has textures to touch. She still puts everything in her mouth and drools like crazy. We are just waiting for her first teeth to finally pop through the gums.

Milestones she has reached for 24 weeks include: rolling from tummy to back, holding her head up when on her tummy, grabbing objects, laughing and smiling, and recognizing her name. Madeline is doing great and we are spending this week getting ready for our big trip to Disneyland with the Lustig family.
