Video of her Skills

Madeline enjoying a yummy rice crispy treat

Madeline has been so funny with her new toys this week. She hasn't wanted to nap during the day because she has been playing so hard with all her new stuff. We finally got her to fall asleep yesterday about 5pm when Grandma Jill took her for a walk in the wagon. Madeline fell asleep on the way towards home and her head bobbed all around until they were safe inside.

We took advantage of the warm weather and met our friends Allison and Lauren at the park. The girls went up and down the slides, chased the ball and went on the swings. Madeline even got on the big girl swing and loved it!

Grandma Jill arrived at our house this week to spend time with us while Kevin is away. Her and Maddy have had lots of fun reading and playing. Grandma is showing me up by making lots of yummy meals...I better learn to cook soon because Maddy might get used to having "real" food this week!

Madeline really loved the spaghetti dinner that Grandma Jill made.

Winter in Arizona

We are experiencing unbelievable weather this week. Today it is 75 degrees so we are enjoying every minute we can outside. Today Madeline spent some time playing with her water table out back.

Playing Ball

Madeline enjoyed some time chasing her big ball around the park today. The weather is perfect..75 degrees!

Before and After

Playing with her kitchen like a good girl

Destroying her kitchen like a crazy animal

New Head Band

Madeline picked out this cute pink flower headband today from Target

Lazy Bones

Kevin is away with his brother Adam for a 13 day fishing trip in Mexico. This gives Maddy and I lots of time to relax and have girl time. She watched lots of cartoons from her Dora chair last night and we built her pink race car track.

Merry Christmas

Madeline must have been on Santa's Nice list because he brought her some fabulous gifts this year. She received a doll house, Kitchen, Zoo Train, and some books. Madeline did not take a nap today because she was so busy playing with everything. She barely ate lunch or dinner either because she just wanted to play. She is now sound asleep in bed where she went at about 8:15. Hopefully she will stay asleep all night.

Grandpa Doug and Grandma Jill

Grandpa Doug and Grandma Jill spoiled Madeline with wonderful Christmas gifts. They sent her a cute outfit, socks, Dora shoes, and several really great books. Madeline had fun pulling off the wrapping paper and immediately started looking through the books. Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa, we appreciate you thinking of our little angel.

Video of Madeline on the Slide

Christmas Eve - Day

Christmas Eve is a magical day as there is excitement in the air. We tried to make this day special for our little girl by doing activities that she loves.

Madeline and I spent the morning running errands while Kevin played golf. The weather is around 65 degrees so we decided to spend some family time at the park since Madeline loves playing there. Kevin and Maddy had so much fun on the slides and running around while I supervised. We will be spending the evening making sugar cookies for Santa and Watching Polar Express.
We will read The Night Before Christmas at bedtime so Madeline can have wonderful dreams about the morning excitment that awaits.

Celebrating Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Anita

Friday Night was dedicated to celebrating Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Anita in Indiana. Madeline opened one of the gifts they sent her and she loves it so much! They sent her a Baby Doll with it's very own stroller and clothing. Madeline immediately put the baby in the stroller and pushed her around the house all night long. This was a great gift and Madeline is very thankful for Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Anita. Thank You!

Grandma and Grandpa sent Madeline another gift but she had so much fun with the doll that we decided to let her open the second gift on Christmas morning :)
