We met up with our pals Allison and Lauren tonight at the Train Park. We were looking forward to riding the train through the light display again but the line was so long that we decided not to ride. Instead we just walked around and looked at the lights from afar and enjoyed the company of our friends.

I was fortunate to be able to leave work at an almost reasonable hour to meet up with Amy and Madeline. The holidays have a special way about them that reminds you just how lucky one is to have a family to be with in the first place. There is always magic in the air in December. Sometimes, that is what we all need when hope seems lost; just a little bit of magic. There are times in life you realize that every moment counts and to enjoy things while you can. They can be gone in the blink of an eye if you are not careful. I love you Amy and Madeline. Our daughter is going to have a very special christmas.
