29 Weeks Old

Madeline is now 29 weeks old and time is flying by! She is growing so fast and we can see her developing new skills everyday. Madeline has one little tooth bud that popped through the gums on the bottom and it is hurting her so bad. She cries and cries all day long and puts everything she can grab into her mouth. She also discovered screaming and does so at the top of her lungs as much as possible, it is ear piercing!!She is having trouble sleeping as well right now. She still refuses to sleep in her crib or bassinett. She only wants to sleep in our bed or on my chest! So of course, thats what we let her do. Needless to say, I am exhausted : (

Madeline now eats rice ceral for breakfast and a vegetable for dinner. She has lots of formula in between. As it turns out Maddy is allergic to squash. Her face broke out in a horrible rash when I fed it to her but cleared up the next day. So far, she has done well with carrots, peas, and sweet potatoes.

She loves to play in her walker and scoot around on the floor. She is starting to figure out that she can crawl. She absolutely loves listening to us read to her and look at the pictures.

Madeline is going through and extreme mommy dependancy phase. She cries when I leave the room and constantly wants me to hold and be next to her. Unfortunately for daddy, she is treating him very poorly and doesnt want anything to do with him or anyone else. The experts say this attachment to one parent is a healthy mental development sign so we will work through it and hopefully she will be back on dad's side soon.

Since her teeth and gums are bothering her constanlty, she keeps making these funny faces all day long.. enjoy!
