We arrived at the Indianapolis Zoo this morning bright and early at 9:30. My friend Aimee and her 2 daughters, Aubrey and Harper invited us and brought us in on their guest passes. This was Maddy and my first time at this zoo and it was amazing!
We reached in and touched baby sharks, fed bird seed to canary birds and got to hear the Monkeys "Talk" to each other. We loved the canary feeding as the canary's jumped right onto Madeline's feeding stick and she even got to pat a few of them.
We also go to see a lot of animals that are not at the Phoenix Zoo where we used to go. We got to see Polar Bears, Penguins, Seals, Walrus, Sea Horses, as well as Brown bears and African Lions.
We cooled off at the end of our adventure by letting the girls play in the fountains. Madeline was so worn out that we didn't even get to take her swim suit off and she was asleep about 10 minutes into the car ride home and napped for 3 hours!
