Grandpa, Madeline, and His Trains

Madeline has been helping Grandpa repair all of his trains today. He taught her to oil the wheels and she had a blast putting the oil on each little wheel and she even wore her train hat :)

Game Day

Spending the day at Grandma and Grandpa house. It is so beautiful outside so Maddy and I have been running around with Maizey, Riding bikes and we even washed my car. Colts game is on at 4 so Grandma is making homemade beef enchiladas and homemade salsa to enjoy while we watch the game.

Girls Day

Madeline and I had a great day Saturday. She spent the morning helping Grandma at the boat shop while I attended my breakfast meeting for the Swim Team. I picked her up and grandma, Maddy and I went to a purse party at our friend Pam's house and Madeline and I each bought a new purse. Then Grandma took us shopping at Kohl's where she bought Maddy some my little ponies. Madeline then spend a few evening hours with Grandma and Grandpa so I could attend my best buddy Matt's birthday bonfire. 

Madeline has been sick all week so we haven't left the house much. Lots of laying around and cartoon watching. She even helped with laundry today...well she dumped out the clean clothes and jumped in the pile before getting inside a pillowcase and saying she was going to nap in it.

Sick Day

Madeline had a sick tummy and 101 fever Saturday evening and stayed in my bed the entire day Sunday. I got her up only one time to take a quick cool bath then she went straight back to bed and watched cartoons on her IPad. We had a low key day today and she is doing a lot better just a runny nose now.

Little Wolverine

Apple Orchard

Aunt Kris and I took the kids to pick apples at the orchard. The temps in Indiana are near record high but we braved the heat anyways. The farm had several types of apples to pick. We walked through and the kids picked from the trees and had a blast. Maddy and I even got to go on a gator ride with one of the farmers. Maddy and I ended up with a variety of about 10 apples. We even brought home a yummy apple pie and root beer :)
