Today was a very exciting day for Madeline and I. It was our first day of Preschool! We woke up pretty early this morning and she helped me pick out her outfit and the foods she wanted packed in her lunch box. When we arrived at school, she was able to locate her picture and name tag and hung her backpack and purse on her assigned hooks outside her classroom. When I picked Madeline up at 1:00, she ran to me and gave me a giant hug. She told me she had so much fun at school and her teacher, Mrs. Anderson said Madeline was very well behaved and had a lot of energy.
Today was also special for me as it was my first day as a preschool teacher! I am a teacher at the same school Madeline attends but in my own classroom down the hall. This is my first real job since becoming a stay at home mother over 3 years ago.
