10 weeks old

Sweet Madeline is now over 10 weeks old!

Magic Show

We took Madeline to 3 Margartia's for dinner Saturday night. She enjoyed a magic show and received a balloon poodle from the magician!

Grandma Anita is Here!

Grandma Anita was here this weekend and we had a great time with her. Madeline immediately recognized grandma when she arrived and smiled and giggled for several minutes as soon as grandma picked her up.

Happy Baby

Madeline seems to get happier everyday. Her smile is bigger and brighter than ever. She recognizes daddy and me and gives a sweet little smile when she sees us. She has been giggling at he Winnie the Poo paintings on her bedroom wall and she giggles when we tickle her tummy. Madeline has also started "cooing" which our doctor said is her way of trying to talk and use her vocal cords.

2 Month Check Up

Today Maddy had her 2 Month Check up with Ms. Diane, our Pediatrician. Maddy is now over 21 inches long and 10.05 pounds!! She has grown more then 2 inches and gained about 3 pounds since her one month check up. Ms. Diane said this far exceeded her expectations and used the word "Perfect" when describing Maddy's growth and overall health.

Maddy impressed Ms. Diane by smiling and giggling at her and tracking her movement with her eyes. Ms. Diane said that Maddy is advanced when it comes to her movements and strength. We are so lucky to have such an amazing little lady !!

Maddy is learning to smile more and more each day. I had to take these on the cell phone again, but they are absolutely adorable.

Up late with Maddy

Gym

We bought Maddy her first play gym today. She enjoys lying on her back and reaching for the toys. A couple times she has been able to get a hold of the bird in the center and pull it towards her. The bird plays music when she pulls on it and Maddy smiles and really enjoys hearing it.

Maddy is also doing mini push ups when we lie her on her stomach. She is getting so strong. She also is trying to crawl, she knows how to move her arms and legs and can move a tiny bit.

Bath Time

Here is Maddy wearing her cute little pink Octopus robe and slippers. She like wearing these after a bath to keep her nice and warm. She has started smiling when she feels the warm water on her during baths.

Action Shot

Our sweet Madeline is so Strong. She is able to sit in her feeding chair and hold herself up to eat. This is quite an accomplishment because the chair is meant for ages 3 months and up.This is a shot of her sneezing in the middle of dinner. SO CUTE!!

Just Hanging Around

New Sunglasses

Today we bought Maddy a new pair of sunglasses. She now has 3 pairs to choose from....White Cinderella glasses, Pink Little Mermaid Glasses and these Cute pink ones with fruit. Maddy loves taking walks in the stroller so of course she needs to have stylish shades to wear!

7 Weeks Old...

Maddy is now 7 weeks old and she is growing up right before our eyes. She has graduated into size 1 diapers, she is now wearing 3+ month clothing, and she is holding her head up and turning it both directions. She just got her first pair of sunglasses (Little Mermaid) so she can go outside in the bright sunshine without straining her beautiful blue eyes. Her favorite things are to go for walks in the stroller, sleep on Momma or Daddy, and let the dogs lick her face...haha She is happy all the time and only cries on the rarest of occasions. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful little girl.

Going to work with Dad

Today Madeline and I dressed up and went to daddy's work. We took a tour of his office and Maddy met everyone he works with. Almost everyone said Maddy looks just like Kevin! She was so exhausted from meeting so many new faces that little Madeline started her nap before we even got in the car to go back home!!
