Friends

My longtime friend, Jarrod, came over yesterday. He brought his two daughters Aubrey and Harper and his mom "Nana Pam".The girls ran all over the house chasing each other and they danced and played. Madeline remembered them from our last visit and they had a great time.

Learning to Ride

Madeline had never ridden a bike before....She found this tricycle in Grandpa's workshop last night so she hopped on and I showed her how to use her legs to ride. She immediately started riding around the garage!! She loved it!

Train

Grandpa and Maddy spent some time playing in the train room. Grandpa let her push the buttons to make it go and she even got to use the remote control to make it go fast and slow. Maddy wore her pink train hat and loved watching the 2 trains go through the town. She even got to push the buttons to make the horns blow and the firetrucks to move around the streets within the town Grandpa has built.

Maddy and Cousin Bella

Cousin Bella was not feeling well this morning so she didn't go to school. Instead she came to Grandma's house at 9 am and she spent the entire day with Madeline and I while Grandma and Grandpa went to work. Maddy and Bella played drums and sang for me, watched cartoons, and played dolls in the morning. Then after lots of snacks and running around we went outside to explore the snow. I think Bella is well enough for school tomorrow :)

She already knows how to turn on the IPad and search for stuff on YouTube as well as play games. She even knows how to navigate to find pictures and her saves cartoons. 

Madeline and Grandma

Madeline's very favorite thing to do with Grandma Anita is play the piano. They sit and Grandma plays songs like "twinkle twinkle" and "happy birthday" and Maddy plays notes and sings along. They can sit for hours spending time together playing piano.

New Hair Cut

Fun with Grandpa

Grandpa gave Madeline a giant roll of coloring paper. They sat together and Grandpa taught Maddy how to draw houses, animals and all sorts of fun stuff.

We Made It!

We made it Indiana safely and arrived at Grandma and Grandpas house Tuesday afternoon. We were exhausted from our trip and Madeline and I both slept from 11 pm Tuesday night until 12 pm Wednesday afternoon!!

Plane Ride

Madeline and I woke up early Tuesday morning to head to the airport for our trip to Grandma Anita and Grandpa Jeff's house. Kevin dropped us off around 8:30 am and we got through security and boarded the plane within 30 minutes. Madeline had a great time during the 3 hour trip. She watched Mickey on the computer and played games on her IPod. She enjoyed looking out the window at all the buildings below. We were in for a big surprise as we got Closer to Indiana. When we left AZ it was about 65 degrees but when we landed in IN it was 29 degrees and snowing like a blizzard!!

Warm Weather

Maizey

Today was Maizey's day to take a car ride with us. Madeline and I took her to Pet Smart for a haircut and she had her tongue hanging out the window the whole ride.
Madeline loved looking at all the fish at the store and she even tried to count 100 of them.
We had plenty of time to waste while waiting for Maizey so we went shopping!! Madeline bought her first pair of size 8 shoes. Her feet are growing so fast!

Music Class

Madeline was center of attention today at the library. She danced and sang right alongside the teacher and had a smile on her face the whole time.

Another fun day at the park. Maddy filled her buckets with water and pretended to fish with sticks. It was very cute. She also helped some boys build a castle with sticks and sand. We did a lot of running around, playing catch and chasing each other too.
