Ready to Swim

Madeline had her first swim lessons today at Cactus Pool near our house. She started out the day really tired as I had to wake her up about 3 hours before she normally wakes up.

She had on this cute swim suit at first then all of a sudden she began to squat and pee was all over the floor! Apparently swim diapers aren't as great as i thought. So...We had to regroup and change into another swim suit last minute.

Maddy loves the pool. She wanted to cling to my side the whole time and was a little scared at first because the swim teacher wanted to dunk her all the way. Of course i was not comfortable with this because she isn't even a year old and they understood! As the class went on, she loosened up a bit and I was able to get her to float a little on her back and tummy. She Had fun playing with her friend Lauren on the pool steps and she got a little sun tan. We have 7 classes left so i will try to get some action shots
