Today is the hottest day of the year so far with a high of 117 degrees. We weren't real sure of what activities we could bare in the heat so we decided to spend the day in the water. Madeline enjoyed playing with her water table during the morning hours. We have the table set up under the covered part of the patio so it felt OK with the breeze. She had fun dumping buckets of water on herself and me. She loves splashing around and playing with the little boats. When we are outside she likes to drink directly from my bottled water. She can get water out and actually drink it on her own.
